Lady Falls
A stop that everyone can enjoy. With a few gradual switchbacks, nice wide trail and beautiful views at the end? What more could you want?! The spray from the falls mists you at the end of the 1km trail. Great place to stretch your legs on Highway 28. Alternatively to the falls you can head down stream underneath the highway bridge and follow game trails until you hit the Elk River. Cervus Creek drains into the Elk River here and offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks from the valley floor.
Getting There
Head out of Gold River and go east towards Campbell River on Highway 28. You will enter Strathcona Park, pass the Elk River Viewpoint and see signs for Lady Falls on your right hand side of the road. Take a right turn after you cross Cervus Creek; signs for Lady Falls Picnic Area.
