Upana Caves

Self guided tours through 5 different caves. The trail down is right past the bridge. Great for kids, lots of benches for people looking to take a rest or not partake at all! Cell phone flash lights don't cut it if you're looking for a true adventure, be sure to stock up at Fields before you head out!

Getting There

Head out of Gold River and go west on Highway 28. Cross the one lane bridge and take a left towards Tahsis. You will immediately cross the Upana River and then stay right at the fork following signs for Tahsis. The Upana Caves are approximately 20km from town. There is a large brown sign marking the entrance on the right and down a short road there is a BC Parks Sign with parking spots.
